Is a 20-Yard Dumpster Right for Your Project?

Consider this size for a home cleanout, kitchen or bathroom remodel, or approved construction debris. Describe bulky items separately from dense material such as tile or shingles. Space in the container and the permitted hauling weight are separate limits.

Compare 15, 20 and 30 Yards

• 15 yards: compare this option when your estimated volume is smaller and placement space matters.
• 20 yards: discuss this option when you need more volume for a cleanout or remodel, along with the material and load weight.
• 30 yards: compare additional space for bulky debris or larger project stages. A larger container does not automatically allow more weight.

Dimensions and Delivery Access

Our published 20-yard dimensions are approximately 14' long × 8' wide × 6' high. Confirm the container assigned to your job and the truck’s access needs before relying on these measurements for a tight space.

Allow for the truck approach and loading door as well as the container itself. Describe gates, slopes, overhead obstacles and shared access in your quote request. Confirm permission for the placement location before delivery.

Roofing, Concrete and Mixed Debris

Concrete, dirt and other dense loads require separate planning. Review concrete rental guidance; do not assume a 20-yard container can be filled with heavy material or that it can be mixed with household waste.
