If you need people to carry items out of the house, compare dumpster rental with full-service junk removal. Container delivery and pickup do not mean a loading crew is included. A roll-off works best when you can arrange the sorting and loading yourself.

Residential dumpster sizes and starting prices

These standard starting prices include delivery, pickup and the listed disposal-weight allowance. Your address, delivery distance, debris and rental length can change the final quote. Confirm the rental period before booking.

Weight above the included allowance is $60 per ton. The included allowance is a pricing term, not the maximum safe load. Match the rental to the work

• Clearing rooms or preparing to move: list bulky items after deciding what to keep or donate. Use our room-by-room home cleanout plan to organize the remaining load.

Plan access before delivery

1. Describe the placement spot. Give the address and note the driveway, slope, gates, parked vehicles, overhead obstacles and access restrictions. Container dimensions alone do not describe the space needed by the delivery truck.
2. Plan a clear loading route. Keep access to the house and exits available, and leave room for the container door where applicable. Discuss street placement with the relevant local authority before scheduling it.
3. Discuss the surface. Driveway protection is available on request. Tell us about surface concerns before delivery so the setup can be confirmed; protection is not a guarantee against all damage.
4. Arrange delivery and pickup. Same-day delivery may be available Monday–Saturday depending on inventory, address and route schedule. Confirm dates and pickup arrangements instead of assuming a quote request reserves a container.

Separate items that need approval or another disposal route

Describe furniture, mattresses and appliances in your quote request so acceptance and any special handling can be confirmed. Keep hazardous materials, chemicals, batteries and tires out of the dumpster. Do not assume all appliances or liquids are accepted. Review what can go in a dumpster and ask about uncertain items before loading.

What should I send for an accurate quote?

Include the address, preferred dates, material description, largest items, approximate quantity and placement/access details. Mention whether your project may need a second haul or extra rental time.

What if I cannot choose between two sizes?

Describe the remaining waste after sorting and compare the complete quotes. More volume can help bulky loads, but it does not solve excessive weight or limited delivery access.

How do I avoid unexpected charges?

Confirm the included weight, approved materials, rental period, pickup arrangements and charges for extra days or another haul. The starting price is not a promise that every load or delivery address has the same total.
