What's Included in Base Pricing

  • Delivery to your home or job site
  • Flexible rental lengths to suit your needs
  • Pickup when you're finished
  • Certified weight-based disposal
  • No fuel surcharges
  • No environmental fees

On most standard size pages, pricing is shown as a 7-day rental with included tonnage, then weight billed at $55 per extra ton. For example: 15 yard starts at $325, 20 yard starts at $375, and 30 yard starts at $400.

How Rental Length and Extra Days Work

Standard size cards list a 7-day rental baseline. If your project runs longer, extended rental periods can be arranged and additional fees may apply. Because project schedules vary, confirm extension timing before delivery.

How Excess Weight Is Calculated

Included tonnage varies by container and project type. If your load exceeds included tonnage, overage is billed at $55 per extra ton. Disposal weight is measured at the certified disposal facility.

How Much Does a Typical Dumpster Rental Cost?

Most residential dumpster rentals in Utah range between $250–$800 depending on material weight. Light materials like furniture cost less. Heavy materials like concrete, dirt, and roofing weigh more and increase disposal cost.

Pricing by Project Type

Project type can affect the final cost because different materials weigh differently and require different dumpster sizes. If you are planning a specific type of job, these pages may help:

Prohibited Items Fee

If prohibited items are found in your dumpster, we charge a $25 prohibited items fee for handling and removal. Prohibited items include hazardous materials, batteries, paint, tires, refrigerants, medical waste, asbestos, e-waste, and flammable materials. View the full list of prohibited items in our terms of service.

Heavy-Material Pricing Differences

Heavy materials like concrete and dirt are priced differently from mixed household or renovation debris. The 10 yard concrete container is listed separately and requires project-specific pricing. For heavy-material rules, see concrete dumpster rental guidance.

How to Avoid Unexpected Charges

  • Choose container size based on both debris volume and likely debris weight.
  • Separate heavy-material loads when required.
  • Review prohibited items before loading.
  • Confirm placement access and any local permit requirements in advance.
  • Call early if your timeline changes and you need extra rental days.
