These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Icon Dumpsters website (icondumpsters.com) and our dumpster rental services. By using our website or services, you agree to these Terms.

Services

Icon Dumpsters provides dumpster rental services including delivery, pickup, and disposal of waste materials in approved facilities along the Wasatch Front, Utah.

Rental Agreement

When you rent a dumpster from Icon Dumpsters, you agree to the following:

  • The dumpster will be used for approved waste materials only
  • You will not exceed the fill line of the dumpster
  • You are responsible for any damage to the dumpster during the rental period
  • You will ensure safe and accessible placement for delivery and pickup
  • The standard rental period is 7 days unless otherwise agreed upon

Prohibited Items

The following items may NOT be placed in our dumpsters:

  • Hazardous materials (chemicals, solvents, pesticides)
  • Batteries (automotive and industrial)
  • Paint, stains, and lacquers
  • Tires
  • Refrigerants and appliances containing Freon
  • Medical or biological waste
  • Asbestos-containing materials
  • Electronics (e-waste) where prohibited by local law
  • Flammable or explosive materials

Placement of prohibited items may result in additional fees and removal charges.

Pricing and Payment

  • Pricing consists of a flat delivery fee plus disposal costs at $55 per ton
  • Weight is determined at the certified disposal facility and a receipt is provided
  • Payment is due upon completion of service
  • Additional fees may apply for extended rental periods, overloaded containers, or prohibited items

Delivery and Placement

  • You must provide a suitable, accessible location for dumpster placement
  • Placement on public property may require permits from your local municipality
  • You are responsible for obtaining any necessary permits
  • We recommend placing plywood or boards under the dumpster to protect surfaces

Cancellation

You may cancel your rental before delivery without charge. Once the dumpster has been delivered, the delivery fee is non-refundable.

Limitation of Liability

Icon Dumpsters shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific rental in question.

Property Damage

While we take care during delivery and pickup, minor surface wear may occur. Icon Dumpsters is not responsible for damage to driveways, landscaping, or other surfaces unless caused by negligence. We recommend protecting surfaces with plywood.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Icon Dumpsters, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these Terms.

Website Use

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

  • Use the website in any way that violates applicable laws
  • Attempt to interfere with the website's functionality
  • Use automated tools to scrape or collect data from the website
  • Submit false or misleading information through our forms

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah.
